CYCLING SAIGON TO VUNG TAO BEACH BREAK 5DAYS/ 4 NIGHTS

GUARANTEED DEPARTURE DATE: 15-20 NOV, 2023

Ho Coc is a small beach community located in Vietnam's Ba Ria-Vung Ta Province, in Xuyen Moc district. It is situated about 125 kilometers South East of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). Ho Coc’s waters and beach are pristine and undeveloped and are only rivaled in beauty and charm by the nearby Ho Tram beach.

The trip to Ho Coc takes only about 2 hours from HCMC by car or 90 minutes via the ferry from HCMC to Vung Tau. Ho Coc Beach is expected to follow the development of Ho Tram beach to become a major resort destination in the South of Vietnam

Ho Co Beach is mentioned by the Lonely Planet guide and is described as a "remote and beautiful Beach with golden sands backed by dunes and clear waters which along with the lack of development, make it a draw – particularly on weekdays, when you’ll have the beach largely to yourself".

Also notable in the area apart from the Binh Chau Hot Springs is a 11, 000-hectare rainforest that was designated as a nature reserve in 1975. Most of the larger wildlife was exterminated or moved for safety reasons (most of the elephants were sent to Thailand), but plenty of birds and monkeys can be spotted in the forest.

View Feedback About This Trip:

Hello Socheat,

Yes, the weather is cold here, and from what we have heard we missed a lot of colder weather when we were in Cambodia.

We both agree that our trip was excellent.  The hotels and food was better that we expected.  I think that Cambodia has a great future as a cycling destination.  There was really nothing that we would like to have had differently.  Maybe, just a few tips:

-        Offer the cold beers at the end of the day as part of the service.  Customer pays for the beer, of course.  A lot of people will not use that service, but the ones that like a cold beer at the end of the day, before a shower, will really appreciate it.
-        Mention that free wireless Internet is available in almost all hotels.  That is more & more important, and just might induce some unsure people to go.
-        If the weather is always as good as it was on our trip, then I would emphasize that in your web site.  That is probable the most important reason why Europeans go to SE Asia in the winter.
-        Also highlight how many  people in Cambodia speak English.  That is a big advantage over Thailand & Vietnam.

It is a little early now, but when we plan our trip next winter, we will certainly think of Cambodia and your company as an alternative.

Hope you have a good season and thanks for all of the effort that you put into making our trip so enjoyable.  It is really good that you can enjoy a beer with your clients.  That makes for a good atmosphere.
