AK04: Travel Angkor 5 Days / 4 Nights (Departure Everyday)
Tour Itinerary:
DAY 1: Arrive Siem Reap
Arrive in Siem Reap International Airport. Meet with your guide outside the arrival terminal, transfer to the hotel. Then visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants & Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon visit the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat and see the sunset view at Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)
Day 2: Siem Reap
Early morning, watch the picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat, before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Carry on with the tour to Small Circuit including Ta Phrom, the jungle temple embraced by giant trees and creepers. Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Keo, Thommanon, and Chausay Tevoda. (B)
Day 3: Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to overgrown and rarely visited Beng Mealea Temple, which served as a model for the more famous Angkor Wat. Continue to a unique riverbed carvings at Kbal Spean(River of Thousand Lingas) for a picnic lunch. On the way back, visit Banteay Srei temple. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B, L)
Day 4: Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit local village by walking through a tranquil and typical Siem Reap neighborhood before continuing to Tonle Sap to board on local boat for a cruise through the floating villages (best from July to February). Afternoon, visit Pouk Silk Farm and Western Baray. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)
Day 5: Depart Siem Reap
Breakfast at your hotel. If time permits, visit Artisan d’Angkor of wood carving & stone carving and Landmine museum of Mr. Akira before transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
