Mandalay is the 2nd largest city and the last royal capital of Burma and it was founded in 1857. Most of our cycling tours in Myanmar starts from Mandalay. It has also international airport for flight from Bangkok.
Mandalay Village Ride is a half day ride where our Burmese cycling guide take people to see REAL lives around Mandalay. During this trip, people will be able to see and observe the village lives, the same way as the local people do.
Tour Itinerary:
Take a morning ride to outskirts of Mandalay, grab a bike, leave the hotel and cycle to northeast of Mandalay. Firstly ride to local teashop where locals sit and sip a steaming cup of Chai ( Indian Tea) and having the flat breads such Naan, Pratha and chatting, watching the football matches. Then make your way to a quiet ride to Patheing Gyi and set of pedaling, leaving the metropolis behind and rural area where you will see the real beauties, big smiles of villagers, warm greeting of locals, the farmers on the farms. You will keep riding to Patheing Gyi take a tarmac road and ride back to the hotel.
