VIETNAM CYCLING HO CHI MINH CITY TO HANOI 13 DAYS / 12 NIGHTS
Trip Profile:
This Cycling Tour 13 Days / 12 Nights is the short tour taken from our long tour 17 Days / 16 Nights as so far, we have got some people requested for shorter tour due to their limited holiday for 2 weeks. During this cycling trip, we include the same cycling distances and tours. We only take out the city tour in Hoi Chi Minh City at the begining plus 1 day cycling to Cu Chi tunnel and the city tour in Hanoi at the end. If times permits, people can always do this on their own during their pre and post tour.
This cycling tour starts in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and finishes in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. We cycle over 640km on the most paved road. We do not cycle on Highway 1. Our routes are scenic to enjoy the views of the central highland, the sea, the long graves to Hue. Dates: 23 Sep - 11 Oct, 2010 (Mekong Delta Cycling) & (Cycling Tour Saigon to Hanoi)
We had a wonderful holiday in Vietnam with your Tour "Saigon to Hanoi". We found the tour well balanced which allowed us to cycle through spectacular rural scenery and to experience the adventure of dealing with the urban traffic in the major cities. To experience the culture and learn of the history of Vietnam from the grass roots perspective on a bicycle was truly an experience that we will never forget.
It is difficult to name a section of the tour that stands out because it was the whole experience put together that was special. The 24hrs sailing on Halong Bay was amazing, the experience of Dalat and the Central Highlands was great and the coastal areas had their own touch of beauty.
The accommodation provided was of a very high standard and better than expected. The food provided certainly provided us with a broad taste of the local cuisine.
We wanted to make special mention of Hai who was a fantastic guide and certainly showed his obvious experience . He not only had an extensive knowledge of the local customs and history but he also displayed excellent people skills and always had the interest and the safety of those of us on his tour foremost in his thoughts. From the moment he met us at the airport, we felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed all the days we had with him as our guide!
All Drivers were excellent in the provision of their services to the tour.
Socheat, we also felt priviledged to have you on the tour with us. We appreciated your assistance (particularly Kym who benefited from your help when climbing the mountains!) and your attention to detail in making sure all of our needs were being met throughout the tour.
Over all, we congratulate you on the excellent tour services that you provide and we hope that our circumstances in the future will allow us the opportunity to take part in one of your other tours.
Best Wishes
Warren & Kym
